This release packages the repository state and the canonical public preprint
Multimodal Evaluator Preference Collapse: Cross-Modal Coupling in
Self-Evolving Agents, arXiv:2606.16682v3.

Asset choice

The attached 17-page PDF is the author-attributed arXiv v3 document, not the
14-page anonymous repository build. The copy under
paper/mm_epc_paper.pdf is not byte-identical to arXiv v3. The release keeps
the canonical public preprint distinct from older submission builds.

Verification captured before publication

  • CI jobs syntax, mutation-control and secret-scan: success at the target
    commit.
  • The target commit repairs the README's stale arXiv placeholder, page count,
    paper title, license wording and truncated final paragraph.
  • The repository records raw experiment JSON, analysis scripts and an evidence
    manifest.

Limits

  • This is an arXiv preprint, not a peer-reviewed publication.
  • GitHub detects the license as NOASSERTION; the root LICENSE file contains
    MIT terms for software and CC-BY-4.0 terms for data and documentation.
  • No package version was declared before this release; v0.1.0 names the first
    tagged source snapshot rather than a PyPI-compatible package version.
  • API-backed experiment reruns require credentials and may not be
    bit-identical because live model endpoints use nonzero temperature.
