atomic-time 1.0.0 stabilizes the public API and wire format while remaining compatible with values encoded by 0.2.1.

Highlights:

  • Added is_always_lock_free, try_update, update, fetch_min, and fetch_max to all six atomic types.
  • Added saturating fetch arithmetic for AtomicDuration and AtomicOptionDuration; None remains None.
  • Added optional arbitrary, quickcheck, and proptest integrations for Duration/SystemTime atomics.
  • Fixed serde support for no_std builds.
  • Clarified lock-free, SystemTime, and process-local Instant semantics.
  • Raised the MSRV to Rust 1.85 and migrated coverage to cargo-llvm-cov.
