• Replace the paste dependency with the maintained pastey package.
• Add optional smol-bytes support; enabling it requires Rust 1.95.
• Preserve the existing public API and default feature set; the base, default, no-default, and alloc configurations support Rust 1.85 because Cargo must parse edition-2024 optional manifests. The non-smol feature powerset is verified with Rust 1.89, smol-bytes requires Rust 1.95, and the full smol_str 0.3 and faststr 0.2 ranges are restored.
