Bref 0.3.6

Choose a tag to compare

@alarboulletmarin alarboulletmarin released this 16 Oct 06:24

New

  • Command palette. F10, the first button of the rail, or > typed in the palette lists every command with an icon, a short name and its keys, grouped by kind. The commands of what you are on (a block, a table, a diagram) come first, and only the ones the view can do are shown.
  • Block grips, as in Notion. Pointing at a line shows a grip and a +. Drag the grip to move the block; click it to turn the block into text, a heading, a list, a quote or a code block, or to duplicate, move, copy, cut, comment or delete it. The + adds a line below and opens the / list. Alt + Up / Alt + Down move the block of the cursor. Every gesture is undone in one step and can be given keys in the help panel.
  • Whole rows and columns from the keyboard in CSV tables. Shift + Space takes whole rows, Ctrl + Space whole columns; Ctrl + Enter / Ctrl + Shift + Enter insert columns, Ctrl + Delete and Ctrl + Shift + Backspace remove them. The table bar names the selected rows or columns and offers insert, move, sort, duplicate and delete as icons.
  • The help panel opens on the keys of the current view.

Fixes

  • The pointer shows what a click will do everywhere: tree, menus, palette results, CSV headers and scroll bars, task boxes, links with Ctrl held, table and block grips, diagram shapes, arrows and handles.
  • A list item moved with its grip no longer leaves a blank line inside the list or glues the list to what follows; duplicating an item no longer opens a blank line.
  • A CSV table, picture or diagram opened from the palette stays on screen instead of flashing back to the note; closing the help panel or the palette gives the focus back to what the pane shows.
  • Ctrl + Delete on a whole CSV column no longer removes every row of the table.
  • The palette's placeholder and context sit next to the caret and against the edge of the field.

Removed

  • The shortcut tips toasts and their setting: tooltips and the command palette already show the keys.
