VtMB VR [re:Source] 0.1.1
VtMB VR [re:Source] 0.1.1 is a hotfix for Quest 3.
Already installed the 0.1.0 Unofficial Patch pack and New Game fix? Download and install only vtmb-re_source-0-1-1.apk. Install it over the existing app; keep your game files, saves and settings. Do not uninstall or clear app storage.
Changes
- Fixed controls remaining locked after Gimble's Prosthetics intercom dialogue, with regression coverage for similar cinematic conversations.
- Added First-person hair under Options > VR, Off by default, including Gangrel and female Tremere hair. Mirrors and shadows retain the character's hair.
- Updated the Unofficial Patch pack with the New Game startup fix already included. No separate fix ZIP is needed.
- OpenAL is dynamically linked; its source and build recipe replace the application relink archive.
Fresh installation, or an old pack without the fix: download the APK and updated Unofficial Patch ZIP. Follow the SideQuest instructions: install the APK, launch it once, enable file access, then close it and copy the prepared files into /sdcard/vtmb. No compilation is required.
You must obtain a legal copy of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines (2004) from Steam or GOG. Original game data is not included. The Unofficial Patch is by Werner Spahl (Wesp5) and contributors; the pack includes all 35 matching compiled scripts.
Known limitations
The game has not been tested much beyond arrival in Downtown. Some animations are not yet faithful; enemy AI, physics and UX still need work. Nosferatu is not yet feature complete. Masquerade violations and Humanity loss currently occur only through dialogue checks.
Weekly releases are planned, and bug reports are crucial. Please use the in-game reporting tool and keep save backups.
Full changelog. SHA256SUMS lists the download hashes. The OpenAL source ZIP is optional developer material and is not needed to play.

New Game fix
If New Game only makes a sound, download vtmb-new-game-fix-0.1.0.zip. Extract it directly into your existing vtmb folder, merging Unofficial_Patch. On the Quest the file must be /sdcard/vtmb/Unofficial_Patch/scripts/liblist.gam. Use SideQuest to copy the extracted folder, then close and reopen the game. No APK reinstall or full patch download is needed. New 0.1.0 installations should apply this fix too.
This supplies the missing startup configuration from the Unofficial Patch by Wesp5.
