ds.piv.probe_esd(x0, y0, variable="u", windows=8, overlap=0.5, fs=None): energy spectral density of a velocity component at a probe point.ds.piv.moving_average(window=3, dim="t"): valid-mode moving average along any dimension.
Both are adapted from pyTurb flowstats.py by Alec Petersen. One deviation: pyTurb's low-frequency cutoff was computed but never applied; it is applied here.
