The first public release of MacAmp: Winamp 2.95 for the Mac, pixel for pixel.

Download MacAmp-0.8.dmg below (Apple Silicon and Intel, macOS 14 or later). The app isn't signed with a
Developer ID: on the first launch use System Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Open Anyway (details in the README).

  • 10-band equalizer with 17 presets and .eqf files; pitch, speed and reverb
  • M3U/PLS/XSPF/CUE playlists, Jump to File/Time, bookmarks

  • Audio CD playback and ripping, Disk Writer, Media Library, Minibrowser, Video, Visualizer Studio
  • Winamp 2.95 hotkeys on any keyboard layout, global hotkeys and media keys

Plug-ins

MacAmp-FFmpeg-9.0.2.zip is the optional FFmpeg plug-in (in_ffmpeg, LGPL FFmpeg 9.0.2): MKV, WebM, AVI, WMV,
WMA, APE, WavPack, AC-3, DTS and more. Unzip it and open MacAmp FFmpeg.macampplugin.
