Choose a tag to compare

@alextacho alextacho released this 25 Oct 00:46

Kinoko is now signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so it opens without the "could not verify" warning, whether you install with Homebrew or from the disk image.

Install

brew tap alextacho/kinoko https://github.com/alextacho/kinoko
brew install --cask kinoko

Already on 0.1.0? Run brew upgrade --cask kinoko. Or download Kinoko.dmg below and drag Kinoko to Applications. Your sessions, pins and settings carry over.

Requires macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later on Apple silicon, with Claude Code and/or Codex CLI installed and logged in.

Kinoko 0.1.0

@alextacho alextacho released this 22 Oct 17:35

First public release of Kinoko: a macOS workbench for Claude Code and Codex CLI sessions, side by side.

Install

brew tap alextacho/kinoko https://github.com/alextacho/kinoko
brew install --cask kinoko

Or download Kinoko.dmg below and drag Kinoko to Applications.

This build is ad-hoc signed, not notarized. The Homebrew cask handles that for you. If you install from the .dmg, allow the first launch in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Open Anyway.

Requires macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later on Apple silicon, with Claude Code and/or Codex CLI installed and logged in.
