Release list
PIVXie 1.2.0
PIVXie is a self-custodial PIVX wallet. Your recovery phrase and keys stay on your device, and PIVXie never holds your coins. It supports SHIELD transactions, cold staking, masternodes, governance voting and PIVX names.
This is the first PIVXie release on GitHub: version 1.2.0, build 12, from commit fac6d2e.

Not sure which Android file to pick? The universal APK works on every device.
Installing
Android. Open the APK on your phone and allow installing apps from your browser or file manager when asked. Updates from this page install over it. If you plan to switch to Google Play later, install the universal APK.
Linux. The Flatpak works on most distributions and gets its runtime from Flathub:
flatpak install --user pivxie-1.2.0-x86_64.flatpak
flatpak run alexxiy.pivxie.PIVXie
The AppImage runs after chmod +x pivxie-1.2.0-x86_64.AppImage. The tarball unpacks to bundle/; start bundle/pivxie. The AppImage and the tarball need glibc 2.39 or newer on x86_64 (Ubuntu 24.04, Fedora 40, Debian 13 or later) and glibc 2.35 or newer on arm64. On older systems, use the Flatpak.
Windows. Unzip and run PIVXie\pivxie.exe. This build isn't signed yet, so Windows may show "Windows protected your PC". Click More info, then Run anyway.
macOS. Unzip and move PIVXie.app to Applications. This build isn't signed or notarized yet, so macOS blocks the first start. Open System Settings > Privacy & Security, click Open Anyway next to PIVXie and confirm.
Checking the downloads
SHA256SUMS lists the SHA-256 of every file. In the folder with your downloads:
sha256sum -c --ignore-missing SHA256SUMS
On macOS, use shasum -a 256 -c --ignore-missing SHA256SUMS.
The Android and Linux x86_64 files were built on our build machine. The Linux arm64, Windows and macOS files were built by the Build workflow on GitHub Actions.
Good to know
- Keep your recovery phrase written down somewhere safe. Whoever has it controls your coins, and nobody, the PIVXie team included, can restore it for you.
- PIVXie connects to the PIVXie bridge by default. You can switch to your own pivx-bridge server at any time.
- PIVX names are run by PIVX.name, a service separate from this wallet.
- PIVXie is open source under the GPLv3 license.
