Upgrade notes

  • Local PostgreSQL: alien dev now picks the PostgreSQL runtime that matches the host and records it with the cluster. A local cluster whose recorded runtime differs from the one now selected, or an older cluster whose runtime can't be read back, is refused with an error instead of being started on a different runtime. To continue, remove the local cluster's data directory and let alien dev create it again.
  • Platform TypeScript SDK: the regenerated client (#1243) removes some operations and narrows some types, including the accepted values of DeploymentInstallation.method. Check your code against the new types when you upgrade.
