v0.0.3 — 2026-10-26

A visual overhaul that brings the whole interface onto a VS Code dark theme and icon set.

Added

  • Add a brand logo to the Linux and Windows title bars.
  • Add a bottom border to the tab bar and an outline around the active tab.
  • Adopt the VS Code Codicons set and use it across the sidebar, tabs and chat toolbar.
  • Show "Under Development" placeholders in the Search, Workspaces and Plugins sidebars.

  • Apply the VS Code dark colour palette throughout the interface.
  • Close tabs with a middle click.
  • Use the new-session icon for the Chats nav item.
  • Dim input placeholders and muted text with a new placeholder colour.
  • Tighten sidebar nav spacing and enlarge the search icon.
  • Refresh chat list typography and New Chat button colours.

Internal

  • Split the platform-specific window-control icons into src/icons/mod_linux.rs.
  • Bump gpui-kit to 0.6.6 and tokio to 1.54.1.
  • Add a pull request workflow with test, format, lint and check jobs, and enable cargo test and cargo clippy in the release workflow.
  • Credit Codicons in the README.
