v0.0.4 — 2026-10-26

Add in-app settings, letting you edit and apply the configuration from a syntax-highlighted YAML editor without restarting.

Added

  • Add a settings tab, opened from the sidebar gear icon, that edits quill.yaml in a syntax-highlighted YAML editor.
  • Add a Save action bound to secondary-s that writes the config file back to disk.
  • Track unsaved edits and show a dot on the tab, revealing the close button on hover.

Changed

  • Apply saved settings at runtime: reconnect agents with the updated model as soon as the config is saved, without restarting the app.
  • Keep the app running when the config fails to load, surfacing the error in chat and the settings panel instead.
  • Interpolate ${env.…} references after parsing the YAML and seed a new config file with quill.yaml.default.

Internal

  • Package release artifacts per platform and upload the generated archives directly, simplifying the release workflow.
  • Enable the tree-sitter-yaml feature for gpui-kit.
  • Extract the about-blank panel body into a standalone function and tidy imports in panel_chat.
  • Comment out the unused ICON_ACCOUNT constant.
