OpenCode Connect uses one Rust core for its foreground CLI/service and Tauri tray app.

Install the universal DMG on macOS for desktop use.
Linux servers use the x64 or ARM64 headless archive. These three downloads include
pinned OpenCode v2 and cloudflared, with SHA256 sidecars. Linux service setup is opt-in.
Windows distribution and Linux GUI installers are outside the MVP distribution matrix.

The tray starts quietly, hides on window close, supports explicit pairing and opt-in
start at login, and waits for owned process cleanup on Quit. Configuration and identity
are preserved during import; legacy plaintext state is removed after verified migration.

Version tags publish these assets after automated connector and packaging checks.

terminal authentication remain separate milestones; WebSockets currently require Basic auth.
