Accounts, safety, and model routing

Signed-in users can choose a verified primary bot, star it from its main thread, and have desktop chat and the browser extension follow the effective bot with fallback; they can save an interface language followed by website, desktop, and emails across sessions. Ryu ships eleven-language UI coverage, per-surface locale catalogs, recipient-locale email rendering, and cached whole-sentence host translation. Users can start account deletion after a 24-hour step-up link, see a cookie banner that blocks analytics until accepted, and manage secure pairing and brokered secrets.

Users can receive Warn, Throttle, Restrict, or SuspendManaged steps from decayed abuse scores; reviewers void non-S4 strikes, and scheduled detectors cap automatic actions at Restrict. Operators create, preview, assign, and archive guardrail policies, with unassigned policies enforcing nothing; gateways screen admission and streamed output and block qualified hard-code verdicts with 403 platform_floor_blocked. Routing shows one Ryu Router provider with real model names; own-provider models show Free, and campaign free credit pays own-slot requests before plan pool/top-ups. Managed tiers use ryu-/{lite,standard,max} ids displayed as “Ryu Code Max,” and aliases rewrite responses, SSE, headers, and upstream errors.

Agent approvals, SDKs, knowledge, and durable workflows

Agents with requireApproval pause in requires_action until a user.tool_approval answer; sessions.respondToApproval can mix custom tool results with approvals on Anthropic, and active-run starts accept reject, enqueue, interrupt, or rollback. @ryuhq/sdk/server serves SDK agents with generate and SSE streaming including approvals, workflows with start, stream, resume, cancel, and history, plus tools and local traces; Python ryu_sdk supports generate, agenerate, streaming, tool decorators, middleware, and a workflow DSL.

Teams can read, write, and delete thread or resource working memory through the core API and @ryuhq/core-client, with SDK workingMemory and ctx.memory.working; Spaces import Notion, Google Drive, Confluence, GitHub, and web content then run hybrid filtered retrieval. Workflow script nodes run JavaScript in a Deno sandbox to orchestrate sub-agents with agent(), parallel(), pipeline(), and phase(); each agent() batch is checkpointed by call, so re-runs replay finished agents. Running workflows auto-resume after a crash under a durable two-attempt budget, limits park runs until reset, and users can rewind chats to restore code, conversation, or both.

Web, mobile, desktop, workbench, and marketplace

Website visitors get a new landing hero and section system, a server-rendered Latest updates strip, and product pages with What it is, How it works, Built for, and Works with sections. On phones, Download opens a bottom drawer with share-sheet, WhatsApp, Telegram, Messages, Email, copy-link, and full-page options; email sign-in and reset codes auto-submit, and pricing seats hand 51+ to Enterprise. Users can switch full-window interfaces from the top bar or Mod+Shift+U, with Settings → Interfaces storing per-interface choices; agent spaces show live act state across 3D passport, World 3D, Rides, and desktop town and kitchen surfaces.

CLI and desktop users get non-wrapping tabs with Alt+1..9, auto-hiding sidebar, F6/Alt+0 focus, shortcut overlay, and empty-chat recent conversations resumable by Alt+1..3; mid-turn Esc keeps partial replies and pauses queued prompts. Workbench tabs share Right/Bottom regions, drag across Center/Right/Bottom, and Board adds a List view beside Kanban with filters, Mod+K, C, and J/K navigation. Marketplace adds a Creators tab with search, sorting, profiles, and handle links; organizations edit bio/links and users join waitlists or redeem points for plan, desktop, and node time. Desktop shares one wallpaper preference across Ryu OS, startup chooser, and Customize, restores saved workbench layouts, and adds Ryu Forms for building and reviewing submissions.

Creative studios and visual authoring

Video Studio ships timeline editing with cut, trim, ripple, razor, marquee selection, snapping, keyframes, nested sequences, templates, preview transform/color/effects, metering and export presets; editors can make J/L split edits, detach audio, run cleanup plans, use roll/slip/slide trims, freeze frame, reverse, speed ramps, beat cuts and highlights. AutoCut and shorts reframe around tracked subjects, NCC motion tracking drives graphics or tracked blur, AI fills gaps and assembles scripts, and avatar exports preserve lip-sync as overlay layers. Collaboration merges another session’s save into unsaved local edits, reports conflicts in the Changed elsewhere banner, and Download project archive creates a ZIP with the editable package and referenced media.

Voice Studio ships Studio, Library, History and Stories with generation controls, queueing, voice design, preset voices, import/export, recording, transcription, consent and multi-voice script rendering; users set seed, speed, language, delivery instructions, effects, normalization, format, tags, pronunciation and long-script chunking with crossfade. Library handles samples and History adds replay, regenerate, restore, download and stats. Sites users edit pages in a Design panel with canvas drag and drop, layers, inspector, and chat driving one validated, atomic, undoable operation list, while Forms authors add questions through a dedicated insert dialog and edit in place. Desktop users get generative AI resize presets in the image editor, with AI Resize defaulting to the local image model and local image generation defaulting to Qwen Image 2.1.
