ambykit dashboard grows from a story table into an overview that answers where are we, what's blocked, and what's next at a glance. Everything is still computed locally from specs/ (and git history for the burndown): zero model tokens, no network, nothing written.

Added

Running ambykit dashboard now shows, top to bottom:

  • Summary cards: features, stories, tasks done/total, overall completion.
  • Story status: a stacked bar with a legend. Each status has its own fill pattern and glyph, so it reads fine with NO_COLOR or in a log.
  • Attention: dependency cycles and unknown story references first, then blocked stories (status blocked, or a blocked-by story that isn't done), then stories waiting on an unfinished depends-on.
  • Up next: the next undone tasks whose story isn't held in Attention. Default 5; change it with --next=N.
  • Burndown: remaining vs. done tasks per day, week or month, built from the git history of tasks.md. The last column is your working tree, so uncommitted check-offs count.
  • Feature completion: one row per feature with its bar, workflow phase (specified → designed → planned → tasked → implementing → done) and open [NEEDS CLARIFICATION] count. A feature with no tasks.md reads "not planned".

Also new:

  • --feature=X opens a feature view: which artifacts exist, open clarifications, status, and the story table with a Waiting on column. Attention, Up next and the burndown are scoped to that feature.
  • --interactive is now the full-screen overview: tab moves between panels, enter drills into a feature and then a story, f filters by feature, s cycles the status filter.
  • --json --overview prints the --json story list plus every aggregate in one object.
  • Wide, narrow and plain layouts; an ASCII fallback; 24-bit brand colors when your terminal sets COLORTERM=truecolor.

Changed

  • ambykit dashboard with no flags shows the overview instead of the story table. The table is still there as ambykit dashboard --stories. --json output is unchanged, so scripts that parse it keep working.
  • --interactive off a terminal now prints the plain overview instead of the table.

Fixed

  • An unreadable spec or tasks.md no longer makes the dashboard fail with EISDIR. The file is skipped and named, in a notice line or on stderr under --json, and everything else still renders.
