Description
Hi there!
I don't know if I'm the only one with this specific issue, since I didn't find anyone relating to it, but I'd like to share it with the World. The tablet I'm using is an Asus T100HA with 2GB RAM and an Intel z8500 processor. Here's how it goes:
I know that sleep on Android x86 isn't working properly, but when I put my tablet to sleep and soon after I wake it up, this process of getting it to stand by and then waking it up works several times (it isn't consistent, it takes from 2 to 10 times, average for the problem to appear) and then it makes the thing just freeze, be it with the screen turned on or off. At this stage, there's no way to get system logs and/or system files to evaluate what's happening, since this tablet isn't recognized in Windows and as it is frozen, there's nothing (that I know) that could be done to get stuff around. I don't know exactly how to diagnose what's happening since I don't have that much experience digging into the Android System, and I don't know where to find the system's logs to examine this kind of problem. I think that this one issue is rather common, but the next one is the real headache. This one strikes the tablet sporadicaly: if left alone (with the screen on, and without pressing anything after boot), the tablet completely freezes as well (here, there's no metric, since it seems to be completely random). It also happens while I'm using it and, sometimes, after I stop using it. Maybe these 2 problems are related, but I can't say for sure. If anyone's willing to help I very much appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
