Dialog / Modal centering issues

Then my nit: Looking at your demo page on my iPad, I at first thought modals didn't work at all, because I couldn't see them. But, that's because they appear at the top of the overall page, and that part of the demo is several scrolls below. Hoping this makes sense and that it's something you can fix...

Regarding your problem with modal positioning - I've just tested on my Ipad2 (Safari and Chrome) and things are working fine for me.

Positioning of the modal dialog is assured by bootstrap's CSS so there is no specific logic from our side here. What is your version of iOS and a browser? Could you go to the bootstrap's page and try they "Live Demo" from
http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/javascript.html#modals to check if you can see the same problem?

Hi, I have an early iPad 1 -- it says version 4.2.1. Only has Opera, and I
don't see how to find version of that. But, the modal demo on the
Bootstrap page works as expected. (And it, too is well down from the top of
the page.) -Mark
