ng-model doesn't update when input changed

Expected: When user selects item from autocomplete (Bootstrap's typeahead), the value next to the input should be updated.
Current: The value is only updated when user actually types it in. change event is ignored.

+1 on this issue. I have a problem which looks pretty much related: when checkbox which is tied to angular model is checked from JavaScript, it's correspondent model does not gets updated.

I'm implemented two simple ways how to solve this problem (one with directive which you could reuse). Because change event seems to be triggered outside angular framework.

@dnagir what you were trying to do if far from the canonical way of integrating 3rd party libraries with AngularJS. For a start it should be done in a directive. Then, a directive should be setting $viewValue upon selection. The So thread mentioned by @KjetilHaaheim lists existing libraries that got Bootstrap's typeahead integrated with AngularJS.
