WP8 Cordova routing issue due to url formatted with x-wmapp0

Angular throws an error in the function "matchUrl(url, obj)" due to the URL being formatted as such: "x-wmapp0:www/index.html".

Apparently the URL scheme is specific to Cordova/WP. This happens when attempting to use routing.

Ok . Just tested it with Angular 1.1.4 and Cordova 2.7.0 Still the same problem with teh matchURL Function. Could anyone help with this?

Problem is that variable url contains something like this: x-wmapp0:/www/index.html. Therefore parsing url fail on line with:

var match = URL_MATCH.exec(url);

You can use appropriate definition in the Cordova's config.xml file, e.g.

<content src="x-wmapp0://www/index.html" />

But the AngularJS has still issue with status conversion:

Resolving this issue is simple; replace the default SERVER_MATCH regex:

/^([^:]+):\/\/(\w+:{0,1}\w*@)?(\{?[\w\.-]*\}?)(:([0-9]+))?(\/[^\?#]*)?(\?([^#]*))?(#(.*))?$/

with the following regex:

/^([^:]+):[\/\/]*(\w+:{0,1}\w*@)?(\{?[\w\.-]*\}?)(:([0-9]+))?(\/[^\?#]*)?(\?([^#]*))?(#(.*))?$/

The only difference is that the double slash after the protocol is now optional so it matches the URL of Windows Phone apps. I'll create a pull request in a week or two.

I tried this fix, and it seemed to fix our routing issues. Thanks! That said, it opened up a litany of other Angular/WP8/PhoneGap issues. =\

@robbinh Thank you very much for providing this fix. I tried it aswell this issue is solved, but i ran into more angular / wp8 / Phonegap issues like @Hiroio did. At first i thought that my project was messed up from all that testing, but i tried to run one of the tutorials in wp8/phonegap which does not work. I started to look at other frameworks for now. it s sad. Angular looked like the best match for me.

I ran into these issues myself as well. One of them was an the incompatibility of the $http service, which I managed to resolve, I'll create a pull request for it soon. Please create a ticket for other issues and notify me afterwards, perhaps I could be of help.

@RobbinHabermehl It will not work for me with this fix using (1.0.7) I tried upgrading to unstable 1.1.5 but it does not work either.

@mchambaud, this error seems to be unrelated to my fix; AngularJS threw an exception due to an unstable model which led to a loop. I haven't tested the fix on version 1.0.7 of AngularJS, but on version 1.1.5 it most definitely doesn't result in a $digest loop. Does this error show up in both versions?
