Valid URLs are marked unsafe: in IE6 and IE7

There is an assumption in the urlSanitization code that the href will always return an absolute URL. In IE6 and IE7 this is not the case. This results in urls being marked as unsafe when they are not.

As part of our effort to clean out old issues, this issue is being automatically closed since it has been inactivite for over two months.

Please try the newest versions of Angular (1.0.8 and 1.2.0-rc.1), and if the issue persists, comment below so we can discuss it.

hmm. I think that this is still in issue in 1.0.8 but not in 1.2.0rc1. Can someone confirm and reopen the issue if true?

I use Angular 1.0.8 and had the same problem in IE7. Using $compileProvider I was able to make it work.

$compileProvider.urlSanitizationWhitelist(/^\s*((https?|ftp|mailto|tel):)|#/);
