Paginator "Items per page" select out of alignment

The md-select used to select number of items per page is unaligned with the text

What is the current behavior?

Should be aligned

What are the steps to reproduce?

Create a simple md-paginator.

Which versions of Angular, Material, OS, TypeScript, browsers are affected?
