Desired functionality

I followed the steps in this post to create an application template for the angular-cli.

For example:

ng new --collection=@ionic-starter/blank myApp

Just wondering if/when the require.resolve() issue will be addressed?

So we can use symbolic links, for example:

ln -s /Users/rob/workspace/ionic-starter /usr/local/lib/node_modules/@angular/cli/node_modules/@ionic-starter

This is still an issue, dunno why is this closed:

global packages:

$ npm list -g --depth=0
/usr/local/lib
├── @angular-devkit/core@0.4.5
├── @angular-devkit/schematics@0.4.5
├── @angular/cli@1.7.3
├── @ionic-angular/schematics@1.1.4

And this nasty hack is still needed:

Note: There is currently an issue with Schematics use of require.resolve() however there is a known workaround:

cd /usr/local/lib/node_modules/@angular/cli/node_modules
mkdir @ionic-angular
cp -R /usr/local/lib/node_modules/@ionic-angular/* @ionic-angular/
