Actual Behavior:

• What is the issue? * need to call a function when drop down is closed without selection (click outside).
• What is the expected behavior? the component calls callback function after closing the drop down. Like md-selected-item-change.

Release 1.1.1 resolved the issue (#9233). Now I can use ng-blur="onBlur($event)".
