This looks like a typings issue. Can you run typings install in the project?

There are a lot like this lately. Said that I was trying to repro this like 5 hours ago and I forgot.

Thing is, typings should be installed automagically but somehow it doesn't happen for certain people. It does for me, even with fresh node installation.

Yeah it's really weird. I mean the postinstall script is there, and the typings package is a dependency, so it should run. I wonder what causes it to not run.

typings is definitely not installed.
And it is not installing when I try to manually install with
npm install typings

I am on node v5.3.0

Maybe I need to go back a version of node?

Have you checked that you have the typings folder?

$ node_modules/.bin/typings install

And see if that generates it.
