This is a project of cilia segmentation on a sequence of frame images.

Cilia are microscopic hairlike structures that protrude from literally every cell in your body. They normally beat in regular, rhythmic patterns to perform myriad tasks. It has been proven that abnormal beat behavior causes not only cardiac diseases but also those in other part of human body.

Currently, segmenting cilia is done manually by well-trained physicians, which is time consuming. Therefore, it is important to seek for an automatic way for cilia segmentation.
