keynortia

First public release of Keynortia.

Turn your computer keyboard into a MIDI instrument: a piano or a button accordion (B or C system) on the 45 small keys, with a different instrument for every keyboard. The notes go out as MIDI, so any synthesizer, plugdata patch or DAW can make the sound (a virtual port called "Keynortia" on Linux and macOS; on Windows, a port such as loopMIDI). With exclusive mode on, the keys of a keyboard used as an instrument no longer type.

Linux is the platform that has been tried on real keyboards. The Windows and macOS versions are new and have seen little use on real machines: please report anything odd in the issues, with your system, your keyboard and the message the window shows.
