Release Notes

This release introduces a new way of generating feature vectors: a pre-trained audio embedding model is embedded into the Mecomp daemon, and through a configuration option users can choose to use their own embedding model as well (so long as it follows the same input/output specifications).

This new method enabled better feature representations for songs, which in turn improves the quality of generated radios and dynamic playlists.
Currently, the included model suffers from a small training set, but future versions may include a better trained model.

Hardware acceleration is available, but must be enabled at compile time through the cuda or tensorrt feature flag.
