Here is the reason for this issue:
Looks like QE installed mysql-community instead of mysql on centos6. Which is something centos6 does not really use/need usually.
Later when Ambari tries to install mysql it gets this:

Package mysql-server-5.1.73-8.el6_8.x86_64 is obsoleted by mysql-community-server-5.7.21-1.el6.x86_64 which is already installed

I think it will be good to test this code for sles, debian and ubuntu. Probably mysql service name could be different. Also you should add patch for HDP 3.0.
