Current behavior:

Note: everything seems to work expect for the variable resolving itself. So not very user friendly.

Expected / new behavior:

Current value should say slice

Minimal reproduction of the problem with instructions:

  1. ensure ds requests are enabled in traffic_portal_properties.json
  2. Find a ds with range request handling = slice_plugin. (or create one)
  3. update the ds and set range request handling != slice_plugin
  4. notice the error in the delivery service request.
