This patch release fixes a critical reliability issue where aborted or cancelled AI runs could leave the conversation history in a corrupted state, causing every subsequent request to be rejected by DeepSeek and other OpenAI-compatible providers.

Detailed list of changes

  • Fixed conversations becoming unusable after a run was cancelled, timed out, errored, or exhausted its tool-call budget: orphaned tool calls in the history are now closed with a synthetic failed result, resolving invalid_request_error rejections on DeepSeek and other OpenAI-compatible providers.
  • The WebChat greeting and other single-shot runs now execute as isolated turns with tools disabled, so they can no longer emit tool calls that would never be answered.

Technical Requirements

  • Rhino 8.0 or above is required
  • Windows 10/11 or macOS
  • Valid API keys for MistralAI, OpenAI, DeepSeek, Anthropic, or OpenRouter
