tone() doesn't work in the board managers ATtiny package

I tried for days to get tone() to work with the package downloaded from board manager. Even so, the compiler accepts my calls for tone(), which tells me it's in there somewhere. When I finally tried an older board package (Arduino-tiny it worked fine.

I found the author of the core I'm having issues with. Better take it directly with him.
