Suggestion: Why not use chromium ?

sorry, this is not actually an issue but a suggestion.

I saw that you were using Qt for rendering, why not chromium ? or gecko ?

Also, the last version of QT doesnt use webviews anymore but webengines (based on chromium)
i guess you know that already.

I will close this issue as duplicate. But I will explain (in short): we do not have enough maintainers to even start developing alternate backend. Beside that, we are happy with QtWebKit.
