v1.2.6 — Final 1.x release (EOL). 2.0 development begins

Release notes

  • This is the final release of the 1.x line. On-disk formats remain frozen in this build (meta v3, page v2, WAL v1).
  • The 1.x branch is now frozen and will not receive further updates or fixes.
  • We are starting a major 2.0 redesign with breaking changes (new on‑disk and wire formats, large feature set). Timelines are long; compatibility with 1.x is not guaranteed.
  • If you need a stable baseline, stay on v1.2.6.
  • Thank you for using QuiverDB. Follow the 2.0 roadmap in the README for updates.
