No code changes from 2.12.0. This release contains the same code as 2.12.0, published with its release archive and checksum.

Fixed

  • The release ships its archive and .sha256 checksum — the v2.12.0 GitHub release was created by hand before the release workflow ran. Releases in this repository are immutable, so the workflow could not attach cms-framework-2.12.0.zip or its .sha256 sidecar, and it never notified Packagist. Without the sidecar the self-updater has no checksum and refuses the update (cms.updates.verify_checksum). Update to 2.12.1 instead of 2.12.0.

Changed

  • The release workflow refuses a tag that already has a release — a new preflight job fails within seconds, before the test run, if a release already exists for the pushed tag, and explains why.
