feature request: gitmoji auto-complete in commit message field

Currently the commit panel shows gitmoji correctly. Is it possible to support the : auto completion like in normal editor tabs inside the commit message input field to input gitmojis faster?

Edit: Nevermind, the github package does more than I thought it did. Maybe some of it could be extracted to a generic git package?

They actually used to be separate packages (before public release, or my time here). I believe we settled on consolidating them because the implementations ended up being much more intertwined than it seemed at first. That might have even predated Atom's service API for inter-package communication... We could revisit that in the future, but right now it seems like a lot of work without much benefit.
