What's Changed

  • feat: Have npt send a heartbeat over the npt control socket. These heartbeats are intended to let zealous network intermediaries know that the npt control socket is not dead
  • feat: Allow clients (npt, sshnp, noports desktop app, etc.) to request the use of port 443 on the relay for this session, rather than a pair of random ports
  • feat: New & stronger authentication (ESCR - Encrypted Signed Challenge Response) of new socket connections to the relay, eliminating potential for replay attacks
