Fixes
- The launcher prefers the binary the Auten installer put in place over any other
autenon your PATH (another tool may ship a CLI with the same name). - Setup-only fallback now negotiates
protocolVersioncorrectly (echoes a supported version, else 2025-11-25), so clients that send a newer version no longer fail before setup. - On Linux the launcher says up front that the installer asks for sudo once (apt dependencies). Admin-free install is macOS/Windows only.
New
- Claude Code plugin bundle in
plugin/, and the repo works as a plugin marketplace. - Plugin skill
auten-safe-use: text on the screen is treated as data, and the agent asks before buying, deleting, sending or granting permissions. - README setup blocks for GitHub Copilot CLI, one-click Add to Cursor / VS Code buttons,
llms-install.mdfor agent-driven setup. examples/prompts.md: what to ask your agent, on your computer and your Android phone (beta).- Real screen capture of a first run and its replay without a model call.
Docs
- Windows
spawn npx ENOENTnote (cmd /c npx), Linux dependency troubleshooting (X11 session needed), SECURITY.md, issue templates, Discussions Q&A.
