CocoaPods support will be removed from SimpleKeychain

CocoaPods is moving its Specs repo (trunk) to read-only on December 2nd, 2026, after which no new Podspecs can be published. You can read the details in the CocoaPods announcement.

Because of this, we are removing CocoaPods support from SimpleKeychain. The change is in #370 and is planned to be merged on December 3rd, 2026. It deletes the SimpleKeychain.podspec file and the related CI.

What this means for you

• Releases of SimpleKeychain published after this change will not be available through CocoaPods.
• All new releases will be available through Swift Package Manager and Carthage.
• Versions already published to CocoaPods trunk are not affected by this change.

How to migrate

Swift Package Manager

In Xcode, go to File > Add Packages... and enter the package URL:

https://github.com/auth0/SimpleKeychain

Carthage

Add the following line to your Cartfile:

github "auth0/SimpleKeychain" ~> 1.0

Then run carthage bootstrap --use-xcframeworks.
