v0.7.9
Brave Search proof-of-work recovery now works in headed and headless browsers.
- Detect Brave's first-party gate, including large HTTP 429 interstitials, and run its complete Argon2id/blind-token protocol. Large work sets receive one Verify action; auto-started sets are left running.
- Fix paced reloads stalling behind DOM reads or feedback requests. Preserve request deadlines, response caps, exact query/page validation, and session pacing.
- Correctly report fast spare-token recovery as
challenge_absent=False, even when the gate disappears before the first DOM poll. - Return the actual completed search network document and retain origin-scoped spare tokens in session memory. Unspent token cookies use the normal cookie cache; Brave consumes those cookies, so they are not reusable clearance.
Validation: 2,856 tests passed, including 75 Brave cases. Independent fetchaller verification passed 4,603 tests, unchanged headed/headless acceptance probes, native token replay, spare-token recovery without new PoW, and browser-free cache/process restart. Guarded MCP tests passed on macOS and Linux: 20 results on each of two disjoint Brave pages, plus all-provider searches. Fetchaller explicitly approved the tested implementation for release.
