Changed

  • Requires Node.js 22.12 or newer (commander 15). Build target is now node22.
  • Updated to retell-sdk 6.0.1. SDK 6 removed getVersions; agents versions, chat-agents versions, agent-publish, and chat-agents publish now use the paginated listVersions endpoint and fetch every page. agents versions returns base_version, version_title, and version_description; agent_name is no longer available per version.
  • Updated commander 15, zod 4, TypeScript 7, vitest 5, and esbuild 0.28. Removed the unused dotenv and microdiff dependencies.
  • Usage errors (unknown command or option, missing argument) and flag-validation errors are now JSON on stderr with codes USAGE_ERROR / VALIDATION_ERROR; a mistyped command adds a suggestion field.
  • API errors include status and api_message; config errors keep their specific codes (NO_CONFIG, INVALID_CONFIG, INVALID_JSON) instead of UNKNOWN_ERROR.

Added

  • Global --compact flag and RETELL_OUTPUT=compact for single-line JSON output.

Fixed

  • Request timeouts now report TIMEOUT_ERROR instead of CONNECTION_ERROR.
