any way to modify RESPECT_ORIENTATION?

Thumbor's RESPECT_ORIENTATION configuration is super useful when you don't want EXIF data sent but do want the photos to come out correctly rotated, it's a simple configuration flag - is there any way to get that enabled or support added for it?

never mind. Forked/modified/built/uploaded the lambda only.

nice! just what I've been looking at this evening - any chance you'd be willing to post your resultant .zip file for the lamda on s3 for adding to lamda to save a poor soul needing to get a python virtualenv dev environement setup on mac os x??

(also - why doesn't Thumbor set this to true by default? seems very curious...)

just started my day (timezones -_-), let me check if i've still got it on hand in the evening after work, it was surprisingly simple though if you do end up having to do it from scratch. That said, i'm pretty sure I hard-coded it in and rebuilt. If i can find it, i'll post it somewhere for you

I've tried making the modification and rezipping (on Mac OS X...guessing that's related...) and everything seems fine locally and the new serverless-image-handler.zip file is generated in deployment/dist but once I deploy I get the following error (from CloudWatch) at runtime:

Unable to import module 'image_handler/lambda_function': /var/task/PIL/_imaging.so: invalid ELF header

Hey @mattsly, my apologies on being a little slow getting back to you, i'm facepalming myself cos it turns out I have a fork of this repo with the changes I've made: https://github.com/arahayrabedian/serverless-image-handler

that said, I've also increased the quality settings and maxwidth/height settings, take a look at the diff there and let me know if the deployment would work for you, I'm figuring out where to upload it now.

I think just look in to the template and change out REPLACE_ME with your bucket name - again, I built how I remember I built my own, I did not deploy to lambda to test or anything, if it doesn't work let me know and I'll help you out.
