The AWS Access Key Id you provided does not exist in our records

Hi,

I can't make AWS SDK to work with my credentials, though it works with S3cmd without any problems.

Any thoughts?

I've tried to use S3Client through proxy, like:
$s3 = S3Client::factory(array(
'request.options' => array(
'proxy' => '127.0.0.1:8080'
)
));

But now I'm getting other error:

Error retrieving credentials from the instance profile metadata server. When you are not running inside of Amazon EC2, you must provide your AWS access key ID and secret access key in the "key" and "secret" options when creating a client or provide an instantiated Aws\Common\Credentials\CredentialsInterface object. ([curl] 28: Connection timed out after 5011 milliseconds [url]

After this I tried to set credentials manually (though it sits in config file tight), like:

$s3 = S3Client::factory(array(
'request.options' => array(
'proxy' => '127.0.0.1:8080'
)
));
$credentials = $s3->getCredentials();

$credentials->setAccessKeyId('key');

$credentials->setSecretKey('secret');

$credentials->setExpiration(null);

return $s3->deleteObject(['Bucket' => 'my-test-bucket', 'Key' => 'testFile.txt']);


But I got error:

[curl] 56: Proxy CONNECT aborted - Are you sure the proxy is configured correctly and is running? Since this is a cURL-level error, it has nothing to do with the SDK. Are you sure you are supposed to be configuring your Riak endpoint as a proxy or as the actual endpoint. Try using the base_url param instead (see Client configuration options):

$s3 = S3Client::factory(array(
    'base_url' => 'http://127.0.0.1:8080'
));

As for your credentials, I'm not sure why they are not being read. Have you followed this repo's README and also read the Providing Credentials to the SDK page of the user guide? Without some more information about what you are doing and how you are attempting to provide the credentials, I'm not sure how I can help.

Thank you for your input. I tried what you suggested but it was complaining about credentails again, so I just provided it in factory() as:

$s3 = S3Client::factory(array(
    'base_url' => 'http://127.0.0.1:8080',
    'region'   => 'my-region-1',
    'key'      => 'my-key',
    'secret'   => 'my-secret'
));

With this I got other cURL level error:

[curl] 6: Couldn't resolve host 'my-test-bucket.127.0.0.1' [url] http://my-test-bucket.127.0.0.1:8080/testFile.txt 

It looks like it generates wrong url. And if I remove the protocol (http://) from "base_url" I got this:

Guzzle \ Common \ Exception \ InvalidArgumentException
Was unable to parse malformed url: //127.0.0.1:8080/test-bucket/file.txt 

I propose that http://127.0.0.1:8080/test-bucket/file.txt is what I need.

Ah, that is because the SDK performs a transformation on the URL that is specific to how the S3 service wants our SDK to work. You can disable this by including an additional parameter, PathStyle, when executing any S3 operation. For example:

$s3->deleteObject([
    'Bucket' => 'my-test-bucket',
    'Key' => 'testFile.txt',
    'PathStyle' => true
]);

Yes, but it's possible to setup your client to always use it by setting command.params when you instantiate the client. If you are using the client exclusively with Riak, then this would be a good idea.
