Laravel 4 doesn't use bundles

Can this be made to work with Laravel 4 despite the fact that the installation uses bundles?

Laravel uses composer for dependency management. The Google API PHP Client is fully compatible with Laravel 4, you can find it here: https://github.com/google/google-api-php-client

Just add the following in your composer.json:

"require": {
    "laravel/framework": "4.1.*",
    "google/apiclient": "dev-master"
},

After that, use Laravel inversion of control container (App::bind method) in your routes.php file:

App::bind('google-api-client', function($app)
{
    // Configure client
    $client = new Google_Client();
    $client->setClientId('CLIENT_ID');
    $client->setClientSecret('CLIENT_SECRET');
    $client->setRedirectUri('REDIRECT_URI');

    // Set scopes
    $service = new Google_Service_Analytics($client);
    $client->addScope(Google_Service_Analytics::ANALYTICS);

    // Store into object to use it in different routes
    $google = new stdClass();
    $google->client = $client;
    $google->service = $service;

    return  $google;

});

And then in one of your routes:

Route::get('/', function()
{
    $google = App::make('google-api-client');
    $client = $google->client;
    $service = $google->service;
    ...
    Make whathever Gooogle API Service call
