What’s new

• Height values now normalize across the loaded image’s actual grayscale range: the minimum maps to Z0 and the maximum maps to the selected Z depth.
• Values between the image minimum and maximum scale proportionally; grayscale inversion is applied before measuring that range.
• A flat image maps to Z0, and the G-code header records the measured grayscale range and mapping.

Install the attached ZIP through gSender’s plugin manager. Existing frame and spindle speed controls are included.

• Plan Bottom Surface, Perimeter Surface, Top Surface, Fastening, or Fixture workholding.
• Fastening compares opposing X and Y bolt pairs and chooses the lower planned blank volume.
• Accounts for roughing allowance, cutter/workholding clearance, and holding tabs.
• Includes the test-machine example using cnc-006.nc in the plugin README.

G-code Job Cost Estimator v0.1.0

Initial release of the G-code Job Cost Estimator.

Analyze a G-code file locally in gSender to estimate runtime and machine/material cost, review motion breakdown and high safe-Z moves, and inspect long XY rapid transitions. The XY path reduction is an illustrative what-if only; the plugin does not reorder or edit G-code.
