Some apps do not function (VirtualBox install)

VirtualBox 7.1.10 installation.

Both Arch Linux and omarchy (wget) install without errors.
For the GUI to function properly, 3D acceleration must be enabled:

The problem is that some apps do not function at all. E.g., the browser (Super-B) and X (Super-X) work fine, but most of the other apps do nothing when the hotkey or menu item (Super-Space) is invoked.

Unfortunately, one of the non-functional apps is the terminal (Super-Return). Without a terminal, it is impossible to debug this issue.

Maybe adding a hotkey for terminating Hyprland (e.g. Alt-Super-Q) in order to drop to a terminal prompt would be helpful.

When using VirtualBox I would recommend Graphics Controller: VBoxVGA with no 3D acceleration. At least that's what I found to be working.

Also installed virtualbox-guest-utils-nox and enabled the service and followed the guide for setting screen resolution (add custom resolution with VBoxManage from host + add kernel entry in the guest VM) for the guest to be able to pick up the correct resolution. Then the entry in ~/.config/hypr/monitors.conf could be added such that everything runs with the correct resolution.

PS: To jump into another TTY to get a terminal you should use <host button>+<n> The first TTY is 1 so rightctrl+2 should get you into another terminal.
