Fix noisy example approval tests

Some example approval art too volatile and keep changing - for example, the manpage rendering example keeps changing every month, since the month string appears at the bottom.

These exceptions need to be declared in the example spec to avoid the constant noise in all commits.

#654 already adds the instrumentation to do so, so it should be easy to fix post merge.
