v0.3.1
What's Changed
- Dedicated Tor state/cache directories. The Tor client now bootstraps against
./tor/onyums/stateand./tor/onyums/cache(viaTorClientConfigBuilder::from_directories) instead of arti's sharedTorClientConfig::default()location. This keeps the cache from growing without bound across runs and avoids a state-directory collision with any sibling arti instance on the machine (e.g. an artiqwest client using./tor/arti).
⚠️ Upgrade note (onion address)
This changes where onyums stores its hidden-service keys. onyums will now look for its keys under ./tor/onyums/state instead of arti's old default location.
- New deployments: no action needed.
- Existing deployments that depend on a stable
.onionaddress: the address will change unless you move the existing hidden-service keys from arti's default state directory into./tor/onyums/state. - The path is relative to the process's working directory, so run onyums from a consistent CWD (or the keystore — and the address — will differ between launch locations).
