Features

  • Add Qwen3 ASR 1.7B to the macOS app. Select Qwen3 ASR under Settings → Recording → Speech engine to use Qwen/Qwen3-ASR-1.7B-hf locally.
  • Automatically install the required dependencies, download the model, and prepare it before recording. Qwen uses Metal acceleration on supported Apple Silicon Macs and respects the selected idle-unload interval.
  • Show “Preparing speech model” during setup and clarify automatic model setup in Settings.

Fixes

  • Use the actual app icon in the Settings sidebar instead of the blue waveform symbol.

The first Qwen recording requires a model download and setup. No separate CLI installation steps are needed when using the app's bundled runtime.
