The City of Rocklin has a long history, but much of the growth has been within the last 30 years. Rocklin was first recognized as a destination along the transcontinental railroad in 1864, about the same time granite mining began. In 1912, nearly 2,000 train carloads of granite were sent out of town to become part of the state capitol building and buildings in San Francisco.

The sole purpose of BeerJS Rocklin is to discover, nourish, and strengthen the JavaScript community in our city & the surrounding cities that participate while enjoying some great brew in the process.
All people at any level or with any interest of JavaScript are welcome and JavaScript knowledge and mastery is not required to attend, cheers!
Come and hang out with other engineers, developers, hobbyist, and people interested in what we do.
We will be meeting on the 3rd Friday of the month at 6pm. The current home for a majority of our events will be Kathrin's Biergarten off Granite Dr in Rocklin, right off I-80. There is plenty of parking!
Our community is our core.

- Less spam
- Because Github is free which means more beer money (oh whiskey)!
