v1.0.0 — Stable release introducing new components, a core content-mount API, a shared swipe engine, and a set of robustness and accessibility fixes.

Packages updated: @data-slot/carousel, @data-slot/core, @data-slot/drawer, @data-slot/hover-card, @data-slot/navigation-menu, @data-slot/resizable

@data-slot/core

  • ✨ Add createContentMount (lazy | eager) to retain or detach closed overlay content; exported types and helpers to control mount strategy from consumers.
  • ✨ Introduce a shared swipe gesture engine and modal stack/controller improvements used by other packages.
  • 🐛 Dismiss layer now provides richer dismiss details (reason + original event) to callers.

@data-slot/carousel

  • ✨ New/rewritten carousel implementation with a standalone controller, shared swipe engine integration, improved drag handling, and better a11y (focus preservation and hardened controls).
  • 🐛 Smoothly settle slides after dragging and harden focus behavior for example wiring/tests.

@data-slot/drawer

  • ✨ New drawer component with swipe gestures, keyboard/viewport tracking, serialized transitions, and modal-stack integration for stacked drawers.
  • 🐛 Centralize modal state, scope visual updates, and make gesture handling more robust (single snap point support and improved teardown).

@data-slot/hover-card

  • ✨ Honor mountStrategy (lazy | eager) for closed hover-card content via core's createContentMount so authors can choose whether hidden content remains in the DOM.
  • 🐛 Ensure ARIA wiring updates correctly (aria-controls only set when open) and improve focus/cleanup behavior on exit.

@data-slot/navigation-menu

  • ✨ Add mountStrategy option and lazy-mounting for closed panels so inactive panels can be detached by default to reduce DOM/work.
  • 🐛 Improve portal/restore logic and layout restore (handles detached roots and retained content) and clean up ARIA/indicator markup for better semantics.

@data-slot/resizable

  • 🐛 Enforce layout invariants and isolate drag sessions so nested or concurrent resize drags no longer interfere with each other; cursor handling and cleanup are now isolated per-document session.

Breaking changes

  • None in this release — all new APIs are additive; existing behavior is preserved unless you opt into mountStrategy or the new components.

Notes

  • This monorepo bumps all package versions to v1.0.0, but only the packages listed above contain code changes in this release.
